Dr. Amanda Pajouh, DPM, FACFAS, DABPM, is a Double Board-Certified Podiatrist and Fellowship Trained Diabetic Wound Specialist and Foot Surgeon. She frequently treats patients with bunions, heel pain, ingrown nails, hammertoes, ulcerations, routine diabetic foot care, and other foot and ankle conditions that cause pain and discomfort.
Dr. Pajouh is a Texas native raised in Plano, TX. She began her education at the University of North Texas, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. She was first exposed to podiatric medicine after breaking her ankle while running cross country in JROTC. Her interest in the field grew during her undergraduate studies when her father would visit the podiatrist for diabetic foot care. She obtained her medical degree at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Northeastern Ohio. While there, she served as president of the Podiatric Association for Diabetes, helping educate the community about diabetic foot care. After earning her medical degree, she remained in Cleveland, Ohio, for a rigorous residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation, treating a wide variety of complex patients. She then went on to finish her residency and surgical training at the Surgical Hospital of Oklahoma. While in Oklahoma, she exceeded her surgical requirements in both forefoot and rearfoot
surgery, working closely with both podiatric surgeons and orthopedic surgeons. After completing a successful three-year residency, she pursued a busy and fulfilling fellowship specializing in Diabetic Limb Salvage at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital under the plastic surgery department. She brings this knowledge to Family Foot and Ankle Center, where she stays current with the latest research and modern treatments.
Dr. Pajouh brings a high level of dedication and attention to detail to the Family Foot and Ankle Center. She is dedicated to her patients and works tirelessly to ensure that they feel comfortable and fully understand their diagnosis and treatment plan.
When not working, Dr. Pajouh enjoys spending time with family and going to church.
